CIP EXISTS FOR THREE MAJOR REASONS
1. CIP supports sustainable development in Sierra Leone. Learn about sustainable development by clicking here. Find out if an idea is sustainable, or simply temporary charity.
CIP achieves this goal by making MICRO LOANS & through appropriate COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT PROJECTS.
2. CIP shares the lessons learned with other organizations. Learn about affiliate organizations (click here). We work closely with others to share ideas, concepts and specific details. CIP speaks to interested groups, and work with individual donors to help them understand how best to make a difference without making a mess. Contact Dan Lavin at Dan.Lavin@Comcast.net to make arrangements.

CIP achieves this goal by understanding GENERAL CONCEPTS OF DEVELOPMENT & SPECIFIC DEVELOPMENT TESTS to analyse individual projects. We really use these!
3. CIP Educates donors to encourage good development, and possibly prevent wasted effort, time and money. Donors should learn about sustainable development (click here), read about examples of micro loans (click here) or read about other forms of community development that are still sustainable (click here).

CIP achieves this goal by participating in round table Discussions (ex: Fig Tree Foundation), being available to donors to discuss possible projects, and publicizing our ideas and findings on the site.
